We needed a fast, private note-taking tool for our own conference calls. We were tired of fumbling between browser tabs, losing track of questions, and forgetting action items. So we built StenoTyper to scratch our own itch.
Here's the beautiful part: once it's built, it costs us nothing for you to use it. No servers to maintain. No cloud storage bills. No API quotas to worry about. You download it, it runs on your machine, and that's it. We never even know you're using it.
Since it doesn't cost us anything for you to have it, why not share it? Maybe it'll solve the same problems for you that it solved for us.
